Professionalism and super helpfulness I decided to follow a path with Mara a few months ago, it's the first time I chose to rely on a professional and I wasn't sure if she was right for me. From the first time we spoke, she immediately put me at ease and asked me a lot of information to be able to make the best diet plan for me. I have to say that she got it right! In the plan there are all the dishes I like and adapted to my lifestyle and the little time I have to dedicate to cooking. In addition, there are recipes for each dish included so you don't have to rack your brains if, like me, you're not exactly an experienced cook. The food is abundant, I never finish a meal without feeling full; sometimes I actually find myself not being able to eat everything because it's already enough, and despite my initial scepticism, precisely because of the abundance of food, I havee achieved wonderful results! What's more, Mara is super helpful, at any time of day I write to her for a new recipe or I'm looking for advice, the response is always forthcoming. From the request for a change of meal due to lack of ingredients or because that day I don't have time or I don't feel like that food Mara is always there to give me the solution. And the most important thing is that she never has a negative word if for one day you let yourself go and eat something extra or if you decide you want to eat junk food! She always tells me to listen to my body and my feelings, never a criticism and above all (I think that's what we all want to hear) when once a week or every other week I go off my diet plan because I have a particular craving she tells me that it's not a problem and above all nobody dies 😆😆. She also recommends work outs for me to follow that can help me reach my goal. I'm super happy I chose her and wouldn't change her for the world!

'For years I had considered visiting a nutritionist but never followed through on it. When I got the go ahead to recommence training after a long injury layoff, I wanted to give myself the best chance to build back up and get back to playing asap. I found Maras details online, booked in and went to the consultation with a fresh start in mind. The first consultation was great and very informative, and following receipt of my food plan, I soon realised the importance in quantities and listening to your body to give yourself the chance to achieve goals in a sustainable manner. The interim goal and targets were set out throught assessment of my current condition but the main focus was placed on the process and bigger picture. My goal was to learn and grow my knowledge, and the benefits that come from this would be a bonus. Within a few days I felt in a routine, and by week 4 I had reached the (informal) week 8 target. Week 9 I was nearing a 10kg drop and had started back into the full training routine of 3 pitch sessions a week. I played my first game in 7 months in week 10 and could not have done so without the education I gained. I feel that the methods and belief that Mara instilled in me from the start has changed my mindset for good, and I look forward to hitting the optimum BMI and weight numbers (whenever that may be) to allow me to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I do recommend Mara as your nutritionist for several reasons. First of all because of her approach. She aims to educate you to learn how to nurture yourself with food and how you can have a good impact on your health with food.
